The ‘emanation of divinity,’ as cognized by the ancients, may be described today as the ‘manifestation of pure consciousness.’ In either case, it is ‘isness,’ defined as ‘the state of things as they are.’

Practical spirituality requires that
we acknowledge what really is.

This is because divine emanation
(manifestation, reflection, expression)
is never separate from its Source.¹

A divine emanation or manifestation is also never ‘in’ something, but rather its divine qualities appear ‘as’ something. The concept of divinity being ‘in’ something is a holdover from the old matter-based paradigm. Today’s knowledge and experience of pure consciousness demand that we drill down further.

God is not in you
in the same sense
that a raisin is in a bun.
That is not unity.
God is in you
as the ocean is in a wave.

The wave is nothing
more nor less than the ocean
expressing as a wave.²

The little word is
may properly be called
the most powerful word
in the English language.

When a fact or truth
is established as is,
it is in its final form.
It is impossible to go beyond that.

When you have arrived
at the is of anything,
you have arrived at the truth of it,
and there is nothing further to be attained.

Knowing this, you declare
with absolute assurance
that that which is,
is therefore all that is.

There is nothing,
and can be nothing
outside of that which is.

Anything outside of is
becomes is not.
Therefore that which is,
is all there is.⁶
