Wholeness
The ultimate form of healing is to feel
their being as your being.
That's the real healing.
You're not really healing their body
or even their mind.
You're taking them to their true nature.
You're enabling them to feel the wholeness
that they already are—
not the wholeness that they're going to become
as a result of your healing.
The wholeness that they already are:
that's the real healing.¹
– Rupert Spira
“When speaking of God’s children…Jesus said, ‘The kingdom of God is within you;’ that is, Truth and Love reign in the real man[-ifestation], showing that man[-ifestation] in God’s image is unfallen and eternal.
“Jesus beheld in Science the perfect man[-ifestation], who appeared to him where [a] sinning mortal…appears to mortals. In this perfect man[-ifestation] the Saviour saw God’s own likeness, and this correct view of man[-ifestation] healed the sick. Thus Jesus taught that the kingdom of God is intact, universal, and that man[-ifestation] is pure and holy.”²
— Mary Baker Eddy
“This excerpt from Science and Health explains how Jesus healed and is an example of how we can heal, too. He saw ‘God's own likeness.’ That's what the truth about you is—you are God's own likeness. You are intact, not subject to deterioration or decay.”³
